Almost 3000 福利姬Porn (UC) graduands will formally graduate at eight ceremonies to be held over the next three days at the National Convention Centre Canberra (NCCC).
Professor the Honourable Bill Shorten, Vice-Chancellor and President of the 福利姬Porn congratulated the graduates for their academic success and noted that their individual efforts will collectively make Australia better.
“I ask that you don’t let this be goodbye. This is the start of the next stage of your relationship with your alma mater as you join the ranks of our proud alumni which will now number some 108,000. You remain an important part of our university’s future,” he said.
Amongst those being conferred are two new 福利姬Porn cohorts.
The first cohort includes nine students who will be the first to don their cap and gown to receive a Graduate Certificate in Education (Professional Practice) after completing the University’s novel approach to teachers’ professional learning where short, targeted courses can be stacked towards a formal qualification.
This milestone moment for the University’s microcredential program shines a spotlight on the possibilities for working professionals to access higher education, while juggling work, life and study commitments. The program is structured around school terms rather than semesters and assessments are designed to directly support the participants roles in schools – allowing students and school communities to benefit immediately.
Another first is the graduation of the University’s inaugural class of the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security. This flexible online course allows students to tackle one subject at a time in structured units, making it manageable to complete while working.
“Both these cohorts show the transformative ability of flexible and adaptable study choices that lead to positive learning outcomes. This illustrates how UC is meeting students where they are,” Professor Shorten said.
“These graduates have made significant sacrifices to obtain these qualifications, and I acknowledge their efforts and the support of their families, loved ones and colleagues.”
An impressive lineup of high-profile speakers will share their insights at each ceremony, drawing on their impactful professional and personal experiences to motivate and inspire these UC graduates.
Speakers include former Chief Minister of the Northen Territory and proud UC alumna Natasha Fyles, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commissioner Louise Glanville, Olympian and former Senator Nova Peris OAM, Services Australia CEO David Hazlehurst, Australia’s National Cyber Security Coordinator Lt General Michelle McGuiness CSC, Canberra Times Editor John-Paul Moloney, former UC Chancellor Professor Tom Calma AO and Netball Australia Director and former captain of the Australian Diamonds Liz Ellis AO.
